Producer: George Greenough Relive the great surfing era of the 70's with one of Australia's most successful surf movies. Crystal Voyager, shot over two years in Australia and California, follows surfer-cameraman George Greenough as he surfs, shapes surfboards, shoots for a Hollywood film and builds his boat. Featuring surfers Nat Young and Richie West, with an original music score by Mick Liber from Python Lee Jackson: "the film is elevated to a level approaching the sublime in the celebrated last 23 minutes, 'Echoes', in which Greenough's own footage, shot at ten times normal speed, takes the viewer under and down the face of huge waves... and inside the tube... all to the psychedelic accompaniment of Pink Floyd."
